What a sweet Labor Day weekend for video games. Elizebeth and I got BioShock and started playing that and I finally finished Gears of War.

Gears of War is probably one of the most beautiful and well made games to date. With very few complaints, I might have to say it’s the best action game I’ve ever played and definately in the top 5 of all time games.

Why do I say I “finally finished?” Well, it was 11/10/2006 when I started the game. Same week Zune was release. I played it as much as I could with still being semi-busy at work and at home. Within a few weeks Elizebeth broke her wrist and I played Mr. Mom for about 6 weeks and then we lived at my mother-in-laws for a while and then we didn’t have a TV, etc, etc. As you may have read, we have a TV again, which means game time! I set out a goal this weekend to finish it and I did. Finished it on Hardcore and maybe some day I’ll finish it on Insane. Great game! If you have a 360 and don’t have this game; shame on you! :)
