Ultimate Avengers / Saw II Posted on March 14th
Watched the much anticipated Ultimate Avengers a couple weeks ago. This is Marvel’s animated story of Captain America, The Hulk, Iron Man and a few other super heroes fighting Nazi’s and evil aliens. While the animation and nature of the super hero story telling was cool, it was ultimately a let down. All the character development was with Captain America, which was sweet, but most of the other characters didn’t get as much depth. And the antagonist got almost none. I didn’t catch where these aliens were from or why they were here or why they were helping the Nazi’s since WWII. Fun to watch. I hope they make more to further dive into the characters. 6.5/10 Captain America Shields.
Now Saw II was sweet. A fan of the first movie, I felt this one was even better. Very graphic and violent. Bloody! At first I thought the story was predictable, but by the end I took that notion back. Good flick. 8.8/10 Crazy Killers.
