Fair Weather Fan Posted on January 23rd
Anyone who knows me knows that I could really care less about sports. Unless you consider a few rounds of Street Fighter II or Mortal Kombat a sport. Or perhaps hunting pseudo zombies in Resident Evil 4… Well, when it comes to professional sport like NFL, NBA, MLB, etc, I rarely have a clue what’s going on. But once in a blue moon the Seattle Mariners, Sonic or Seahawks have a stroke of success and all of a sudden words like "play offs" or "super bowl" slip through my sport firewall. When they do slip by I say "cool!" This makes me a "Fair Weather Fan." Basically, I only care about our local sports teams if we are about to win the big one.
So when I found out the Seattle Seahawks won the NFC Championship yesterday and got a bit excited. Looks like I’ll be watching the Super Bowl this year, not just the commercials!
