March of the Penguins, 40 Year Old Virgin Posted on August 30th
On Sunday one of my dads, Max, came by because he was doing business
in the Seattle area. He took us out to a movie that night and we saw
March of the Penguins. This is a documentary told by Morgan Freeman and
is quite excellent. You’ll probably be quite touched by how amazing
these South Pole Emperor Penguins can be. Mother nature is quite
brilliant. I give this movie 3.5 stars out of 5. Incredibly fascinating,
but at the same time I felt they left out some details or just skirted
parts.
When I was in San Diego, I saw the 40 Year Old Virgin. I
give this movie a 2 out of 5. It had many funny parts, but the movie
was so incredibly unnecessarily raunchy I have to take away a lot of
points. Who thinks raunch is funny? I know no one who likes raunch. This style of entertainment just isn’t clever or thought provoking.
